Why Donate?
Your support helps KAPA connect people in need with medical care, community resources, and services that can make a meaningful difference in their health and daily lives.
OUR IMPACT
KAPA by the Numbers
Since 2006, KAPA has enrolled over 34,000 patients. KAPA's network includes 2,900 physicians, physician extenders, and all Knox area hospitals who have donated over $400 million in charity care. KAPA's current ROI is 44:1. KAPA's latest expansion addressed social barriers. KAPA's coordination of social services has resulted in a 20% decrease in our patient's social risk barriers and a 34% increase in our patient's physical activity.
OUR PURPOSE
Mission
KAPA's main objective is to aid in solving the problem of the uninsured in Knox County by linking local physicians, hospitals, and local health clinics that agree to donate their services to the individuals and families in need of health care services.
